U19 T2 Head Coach Adam Winters
Adam is a Level 4 certified USA Hockey coach with 15 years of coaching experience. Adam has coached both boys and girls at various youth levels and was the head coach of the University of Michigan Women’s Club team (ACHA,CCWHA) for five years. Adam played Division 1 Club hockey (ACHA) for West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Adam’s philosophy is to provide an environment that fosters a love of the game and develops individual skills and the team in an age-appropriate progression in accordance with USA Hockey’s American Development Model.
14U T3 Head Coach- Jenna Donnelly

Jenna is the current Head Coach for our 12/14 Girl's team.
Jenna played youth hockey with Ann Arbor and Compu Ware. Jenna was an assistant coach with the Cougars and moved on to Head Coach the Plymouth-Canton-Salem Girl's High School Team.
U12 T3 Head Coach Rob Shannon
Rob is a Level 2 certified USA Hockey coach and has been coaching with the AAAHA Girls Program for the past two seasons, both as an assistant coach. Rob’s approach with the players is to focus on the development, refinement, and mastery of the basic skills need to play the game, utilizing station based practices and small area games.
U10 T3 Head Coach Ryan McBride

Coach Ryan has been playing competitive hockey for over 20 years and has been with AAAHA since 2017. He has been an assistant coach for each of his daughter's teams, including Timbits (1 year), 8U mini-mites (2 years), 8U mites (1 year), and 10U house squirts (1 year). Coach Ryan also helped out with the 10U Cougars girls team this past season and is now looking forward to coaching the 10U Cougars full time in the upcoming spring (2022) and winter (2022-2023) seasons.
Peter Ward, Hockey-Intelligence, The Hockey Garage
Peter is a former NHL scout with over three decades of playing, coaching, developing, and scouting experience. The rest of our team is comprised of professional youth coaches, former professional hockey players, current collegiate and junior players
Currently, Peter is the senior advisor to the coaching staff for Michigan State University Spartans (BIG10) hockey team. Peter is also a part of USA Hockey serving as a special assignment scout. Ward spent 2016- 2019 as the Head U.S. Scout for the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL. Before his time in Vegas, Peter spent the previous year working as an NHL Agent/Advisor for Newport Sports Management, Inc. (One of the largest and most successful agencies in professional sports.) Prior to working as an agent, Ward spent 8 years working for the U.S. National Team Development Program, serving as the Assistant Director of Player Personnel for 3 years and the Director of Player Personnel for 5 years. During his time with the NTDP, Peter helped the U.S. capture gold 6 times at the IIHF Under-18 Championships. He also identified and recruited over 150 NHL Draft picks including; Auston Matthews, Jack Eichel, Matt & Brady Tkachuk, Quinn Hughes, Dylan Larkin, Zach Werenski, Charlie McAvoy, etc...
Peter works with our house and girls program for on ice development sessions. Our travel teams also work out of the "Hockey Garage" and use Peter's expertise with training our players.
Kaylyn Schroka- Skills development coach.
Kaylyn is a former NCAA D3 player and Captain of the Adrian College Bulldogs. A 4 time SLATS Cup winner and former Assistant Coach at Adrian College. Kaylyn played T1 Youth hockey in Michigan and after college went on to play professional hockey in the NWHL.

Hannah McGowan
Hannah McGowan is a former NCAA D3 player, Assistant Captain and Coach of the Adrian College Bulldogs. After Coaching @ Adrian College Hannah moved on to an assistant coach position at RIT NCAA D1 Women's Hockey. Hannah is from Michigan and played T1 Girls hockey. After playing college hockey, Hannah played in the NWHL during its inaugural season.
